The daily clinic operation for approximately 650 practicing physicians requires the accurate execution of extensive financial analyses. In order to best accomplish our goals, Interdyn recommended converting to Microsoft Great Plains version 9.0. This software allows us to create FRx reports, greatly expediting our monthly and quarterly financial reporting. Our accounting and finance groups use it on a day-to-day basis and are pleased with its ease of use. In fact, there’s no need to require previous Great Plains experience for new hires because the system is so easy to navigate.

We have used Great Plains since 1998 for our church, school, and foundation. Our system was set up and implemented by The Progressive Group and has worked well for us.

Great Plains is the basis for our financial reporting and management of our bills, input, budget report, budget status, and school tuition. We use the Excel-based budgeting within Great Plains and PO with Commitments. The ability to export data out of GP into Excel is most beneficial. GP continues to improve and be more integrated with Microsoft products, which is of great benefit to us.

Because Great Plains is a stable accounting system, we do not experience downtime. The Progressive Group staff is great to work with and very knowledgeable and experienced. We would highly recommend them to other companies or organizations.
